Diamond Safety, Housekeeping and Player and Coaches Standards
Coaches are requested to follow the guidelines below.
1 Please bury the plate covers correctly and leave the zip ties visible.
2 All players to wear long pants for practice to protect themselves.
3 Ensure that your first aid kit is in the dug out with you and that you take it to away games.
4 Please sweep both dug outs after a game and the home dugout after each practice.
5 Recycling boxes are to be used.
6 Please keep the barn tidy at all times. No equipment in front of the electrical equipment
7 It is your responsibility to line the diamond before your game and to take the tractor over the diamond after the game.
8 Ensure the barn and shed are locked before you leave.
9 Switch off all lights they are not on a timer.
10 When using the scoreboard area please ensure you leave it clean and tidy.
11 Any changes in the use of the diamond or non use of the diamond are to be given to the Diamond Scheduler, Nick Guiler [email protected]

12 Police checks must be obtained for all Coaches who have not already provided them. This Police check is good for three years within our organisation. A letter of authority is available on completion of a form on our website. PDMBA Police Check Letter to Police.
13 For those Coaches who have already submitted a Police check a criminal offence declaration must be completed and signed on an annual basis and is available from Doug Ferguson.
14 Coaches are responsible for collecting all tournament fees
15 Nominations for the Award Banquet and Fred Bridgwater are submitted to Nikki Fiesen by the third weekend in August.
16 No parking is allowed in front of the post and chains or around the pavillion. Parking for loading and unloading equipment. After such time please move your vehicles to the parking area.
17 Warm ups are to be held further down the grass to prevent balls going into gardens. Do not retrieve balls from this area.

19 Please ensure that all players are respectful to other players, their coaches and the opposing team at all times.

Players Advancement to Higher Level/Age series (Call Ups) - General Policy
1. All Call ups must be from the same association
The ideal number of players on each team before a call up can be made is as follows:-
U9 11
U11 10
U13 10
U15 11
U18 11
Representative team “Call Up” rules
A player can only be called up from a division below or from a house or rep team and not from a rep to rep team in the same division.
Players must play for their own team first unless they have permission from their coach.
