Port Dover Minor Baseball utilises Harry Misner Memorial Park as its main venue for baseball within the town. The park was originally an Orchard with a nearby farmhouse which was acquired by the Lions decades ago. The land was converted into a baseball diamond and park which has, and still is, a main focus in the spring and summer months for sport in Port Dover.
We have supported and helped foster some great ball players over past years, with players moving on to play not only at local level, but also Provincial, and Major League Baseball. Our teams as well as individual players, have gone on to win various awards and championships along the way.
Port Dover, is the home of John Axford, who grew up in the town and played ball from a Rookie age at the Harry Misner Memorial Park advancing eventually to play Major League baseball.
Port Dover Minor Baseball offer levels of ball from Rookie through to Senior with teams made up of both male and female players. This great Association participates in several leagues including Simcoe House, Southern Counties Rep and Intercounty baseball.
