Tournament Rules Peewee "D" OBA Provincial Championship September 2022
Team Arrival
Teams must be at the diamond on hour before their game commences for the coin toss. Line up cards are to be presented to the convener at least thirty minutes prior to the start of the game.
Games will commence promptly on time as per schedule. Barring extenuating circumstances any team unable to field nine eligible players within fifteen minutes of the scheduled starting time will forfeit the game to the other team, and the forfeiting team fined $500. Teams failing to return for the second half of a suspended game shall forfeit the game and be subject to an automatic $500 fine.
Pre-Game Infield Practice
Infield practice will not be permitted before the start of any game and no player will be allowed on the infield until the defensive team takes their normal positions for the first inning. Teams are asked to vacate the playing field and benches as soon as possible following their game.
Attire
As per OBA rules. Numbers on Jersey's should be unique
Injuries/Damages/Losses
PDMBA will not take responsibility for any injuries, to anyone during the tournament or for damages or losses.
Rain Delays
In the event of rain or delays due to rain, do not leave the park without conversing with the Convener for new playing times.
Direction to the Park
Misner Diamond from the West: Turn right at the traffic lights at NO Frills and turn left at the first stop sign the park is ahead of you.
Misner Diamond from the East: Drive through town via Main Street. At the traffic lights at NO Frills turn left. At the stop sign turn left again.

Byes
Byes are to be awarded as follows:
- No team shall receive a back-to-back bye in successive rounds.
- No team shall receive a second bye until all remaining teams have received their first bye.
- If more than 1 team is eligible for a bye the undefeated team shall automatically receive the bye.
- If more than 1 team is eligible for a bye, the bye team will be determined by means of a draw with the first team drawn receiving the bye.
Pitch Counting
Home and away Coaches shall sign the Official Game Sheet immediately following the conclusion of the game in front of the Convener (at the pavilion), at which time pitch counts of the Official Pitch Counter will be agreed.
At this point the Head Coach of the Home team will submit the pitch counts on to the pitch count app in the presence of the Convener and the away team Head Coach will verify. The Pitch Count ID number from the submitted game will be provided to the Convener at this time.
In the event of any discrepancies in the number the Pitch Counts of the Official Pitch Counter shall stand.
In the event a coach fails to sign the Game Sheet, the Pitch Counts recorded will be official and no appeal or protest of the numbers will be allowed at a later time.

The OBA tournament rules for 2022, the constitution of the OBA and the official rules of baseball shall govern this tournament. All rules can be found on the OBA (On Deck) Application. Coaches, Managers and all persons who have in interest in the Tournament are encouraged to visit the App and make themselves aware of the detail.
